George Markezinis

Chief Learning Officer

Sustainability and ESG expert with considerable experience in training and consulting.

As the current Chief Learning Officer in EcoSkills, he leads the training division of the company. Through his experience, he is responsible for designing, creating, and delivering EcoSkills training programs. Over the last years George has designed various online training programs, while at the same time has delivered sustainability and ESG related trainings in professionals in Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. He has also worked on multiple sustainability/ESG strategies and reporting projects in organizations from around the world.

George is an Environmental Engineer, with an MSc in Environmental Management and Monitoring from the University of Plymouth. He is also a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, and a lecturer at the New York College in Athens.

Corina Kathrepta

Chief Communications Officer

Environmentally conscious communications executive with extensive experience in both traditional and digital marketing. She leads the communication and marketing efforts of EcoSkills, utilising her expertise in e-commerce, online training services, sustainability, and ESG to drive growth and engagement.

 Over the last years, Corina has focused on e-commerce and digital marketing, and has been involved in the communication of online training services centered around sustainability and ESG, an area in which she is passionate about making a positive impact. She holds a BA in Communication, Media, & Culture from Panteion University, a Master of Arts in Marketing Communications from Bournemouth University.

Her primary focus is to provide executives globally with the knowledge and eco-skills they need to drive positive change within their organizations.

Kate Kyriakopoulou

Training & Research Associate

Kate is a passionate biologist with a keen interest in sustainability. With a wealth of experience in the Microbiology lab of the Medical School of Athens, she has honed her skills in research and analysis. 

As an instructor in sustainability seminars, she has empowered others with knowledge to drive positive change. Her former role as the Sustainability Coordinator for training and summer camps showcased her dedication to fostering a greener future.

Kate holds a MSc in Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, and Sustainable Development from the University of Piraeus, fuelling her commitment to creating a more sustainable world.

Michael Kathreptas

Seasoned Product Lead with a successful track record in overseeing business direction and business strategy across multiple countries and products. From Fintech to Ed Tech, he has managed to deliver robust, stable, and scalable solutions. His expertise includes achieving key growth metrics and driving engagement and retention through innovative strategies and initiatives.


He holds an MA in Adverting and Marketing Communications, Bournemouth University UK

Thokozane Magagula

Training Associate, PhD (c) in Conservation Ecology

Thokozane Magagula is a driven professional with extensive expertise in health, safety, and environmental management. Currently serving as the Assistant Director: Health, Safety and Environment at Port Elizabeth TVET College, Thokozane excels in compiling and reviewing hazard identification and risk assessment plans, conducting HSE audits, and coordinating safety training. His role also involves updating OHS procedures and policies, managing contractor compliance, and overseeing waste recycling.

 

Thokozane holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Witwatersrand, where he focused on conservation biology and environmental management. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Conservation Ecology at Stellenbosch University, with an anticipated completion date at the end of 2024. His career reflects a strong commitment to advancing sustainable development goals through rigorous research and practical application of environmental and safety protocols.

Manolis Kapnisakis

Visionary Co-Founder of AR Services SA, with a remarkable track record in the renewables and environment industry. With a strong commitment to sustainable development, he has played a pivotal role in driving positive change and promoting environmental stewardship.

With his extensive expertise in Corporate Social Responsibility, Energy, Environmental Engineering, and Sustainability, Manolis owns a diverse skill set that empowers him to navigate complex challenges and find innovative solutions.

He has completed International MBA (I-MBA) in Athens University of Economics and Business while he also holds a Master of Arts in Environmental and Resource Management, from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Jim Byritis

Jim is a highly motivated and performance-driven Business Analyst with a knack for multitasking and a keen eye for detail. With extensive experience in consulting firms and FMCGs, Jim brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to his role. He has a proven track record of improving team performance and driving corporate growth through strategic initiatives. He excels at building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners, fostering collaboration and achieving shared goals.

He is a GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standards certified practitioner, showcasing his expertise in sustainability reporting and corporate responsibility. He also holds a MSc degree in Business Analytics from Kent University and an MBA in International Business from Athens University of Economics and Business.

Angelos Masouras

Proficient in leading & managing the development/delivery of online & physical trainings with focus on business objectives & people growth (soft skills training / mentoring). Angelos has a proven track of record in recruitment, onboarding, qualification and coordination of resources, strategy, concept, people, and infrastructure to deliver impactful and memorable multi-channel training programs that meet business and training objectives. 

He is a Mechanical Engineer, with two MScs in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sussex and in Motorsport Engineering and Management form the Cranfield University. He is also a certified Commercial Trainer form the University of Barcelona.

Aggelos Andreou

Highly skilled communications professional and journalist, with over two decades of cumulative experience in the field. He is owning a comprehensive understanding of media relations, and he is passionate about developing effective integrated communications strategies. He is reporting on insurance regulation across Europe (Solvency II, IDD, PRIIPs, etc) and acting as a Brussels correspondent in major regulatory events and decisions.

He holds master’s degrees in Globalization and Media from Aarhus University in Denmark and Financial and Business Journalism from City University London.

Maria Bastea

Maria’s experience spans the topics of human resources management and corporate social responsibility. Over the last years, Maria has been responsible for successfully planning, coordinating, implementing, and managing a wide range of socially oriented programs/initiatives, while at the same time handling the management of the workforce in terms of employee onboarding, wellbeing, and training.

She holds an MSc in Human Resources Management from Athens University of Economics and Business, as well as an MSc in E-Commerce from Kingston University.
