It will also provide you with tips and tricks that will help you overcome the most common challenges in reporting. Also, in this unit, all the latest regulations and legislations about mandatory reporting from various parts of the world will be discussed, along with their implications and requirements for the affected organizations.
This unit will present practical tools to assist you in implementing effective stakeholder engagement activities and conducting materiality assessments to identify and prioritize the impacts on your organization. Properly applying these processes will allow you to define a significant part of the report’s content and inform your strategy. The unit also includes a section on the principles and process of double materiality, as well as a case study to see how companies already apply it.
The third unit of this course aims to familiarize you not only with the most widely used ESG reporting standards, such as the GRI Standards and the SASB Standards, but also with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), which companies operating in the EU have already begun to use. It will provide you with practical guides on how to choose the most appropriate one, how to use them, and how they relate to each other.
The fourth unit of this course will focus on analyzing the tools available to incorporate the Sustainable Development Goals into the ESG report. It will provide guidance on how to avoid misleading the organization’s stakeholders about the organization’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The fifth and final unit of this course will initially focus on the responsible communication of the organization’s report, including its ESG performance. Best practices will be presented to demonstrate how to maximize the impact of the report by selecting the appropriate content and medium for each stakeholder group. Additionally, this unit will discuss the global conditions of recent years, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the energy crisis, and their effect on the reporting landscape.
